This morning, Boehner said something to the effect: "We have always had a plan and presented it..." What Boehner has not said is that what he means by "we". Does he include the Republican caucus as well the Democrats at the negotiating table? It is time he shows some leadership as Speaker similar to what Pelosi did on getting the healthcare reform passed by rallying all the Democrats behind her to vote for it. Ii can't recall of any Eric Cantors during the contentious healthcare debate. Even Kuchinich, who was all that vocal did not draw the ire of his party members as Cantor did when Harry Reid blasted him on the Senate floor and the Republican agreed with him by keeping quiet as he blasted Cantor.
