Here's a green horn placer mining question.
If I find gold that is flat and mainly fine-grained on my claims how far has the gold traveled?
If I find gold that is rough in texture, how far has it traveled.
Flat and chunky.
Quartz attached to it.
Wire like.

All distance type questions. Near to source, Far. What does shape mean.

With the yukon gold rush am i'm I mad to narrow down the placer miners and cross reference against grid soil samples. Even if I am, having fun doing it. Would value your gold traveling comments.

Peace
