Ted - I see both as extreme. They are all playing their little political games and drama.

Playing political games and being extreme are not the same thing. There are always political games......that's the nature of politics. The GOP has presidential candidates who are anti gay, racist, anarchists, anti woman, etc. Some of them are very far from what is a normal American. You've got R congressmen trying to turn back the clock on progress......who oppose education. You've got other R congressmen who want to end medicare and SS, and who shill for the rich. My God Cantor is not only extreme......he's a major jerk. He wanted offsets found before he would help the people in Joplin, MO after their tornado disaster. Some Rs scare me more than the terrorists.

Funny how O is all of the sudden a deficit hawk. Wonder why that is? Why did he not act on his own debt commission months ago? He is just playing like the rest of them setting the table for his reelection.

Obama is trying to do what's best for the country. If you weren't such a partisan hawk, you would see that.

I believe they will take care of the immediate problem on the debt limit one way or another. Sooner or later the lot of them need to quick kicking the can.

Obama has to break the back of the GOP if he is to make progress in this regard.
