Al has responded...your argument is off base and the case is closed either way for you, because while I am ready to accept the decision of the courts you don't seem to be...hell, you are even a constitutional authority now...ridiculous.

Such things have been done in the past.

the Second Militia Act of 1792 mandated that every adult male be in a militia, arm themselves to a standard and train twice a year at their own expense.
