Greg and Hank and Paul M......An article in the WSJ electronic edition Monday night 11-17-97 quotes:..... "Japanese stocks surged 8% Monday on news finance authorities shut down Hokkaido Takushoku Bank after the troubled lender moved to liquidate itself. Analysts warned the stock rally may not endure."........Tuesday Taiwan and Korea decide whether to devalue their currencies.....As you know HWP missed earnings estimates by .02 cents.....One of things stated was Asia Pacific, Canada and Latin America revenue growth increased 22%. They stated that currency effects reduced the company's revenue growth by about 5% (WSJ Mon. eve. 11-17-97)...........If I had a small amount of DELL short I wouldn't necessarily count on the recent run-up as the last time you'll see these prices. You may see them again on the way back down.......George
