CA's tax revenue per capita is second only to NY.

So what? That means nothing. NY is in hock up to its eyeballs as well.

Do you even bother to read anything I present? I've been in CA since the 4th grade so I know of which I speak. Meanwhile gold is $1 away from 1600. Steak and Chivas tonight.

Look. I have heard every winger argument as to why Prop 13 did nothing to hurt the state. I call BS on that. I called it when I lived in the state and I call it now.

You people need to wake up to reality. CA is in a downward spiral that will not end until you all get real. The state has massive economic needs that are not getting met. If you don't get your house in order, all you will have left living in the state are the very rich and the poor.

BTW the nightmare that CA is turning into scares the bejezus out of me.
