Hello, Sparky65. Here is my take of the situation. On one hand, with DVD gaining momentum, OAK's main revenue source, CD ROM controllers, will be in decline in the near future. On the other hand, although OAK has released many new products, none of them so far have had major design wins. Therefore, I believe that the situation has created uncertainties about both the short term and long term prospects of the company. Personally, I am a little concerned although I tend to think that with so many new products and a strong balance sheet, OAK will probably do fine in the longterm. I think that the movement of OAK stock price probably shows that I am not the only one who is concerned

Although the current situation can change quickly after a few big design wins for OAK's major new products, such as the DVD controller and Troika chip.

Does anyone else have any other opinions?

Regards,
Baoho

Odd comment. I believe that Zacks just came out with a buy recommendation on this stock.
