I will next install several new cans into the vaulted ceiling. Cree makes a can for such purpose, adjustable angle. There is currently an incandescent pointed at the art work on the wall; the bulb has lasted 30 years! I will need to install several more to get the same amount of lumens. I also intend to install several that will point down. Because the ceiling is something like 17 feet tall, this should avoid having to replace bulbs. I do need to make sure they are dimmable. I am very pleased with the warm white (2800K) retro fits.
