I wonder if Greenspan would have done anything different during this crisis the past 3-4 years? Also if Bernanke would have done anything different in the 'housing on steroids' years if he ran things?


I hope not. I think bubbles form despite what the feds do. We have bubbles since the 16 century before there was a fed. It used to be a tulip bulb could buy you a very nice house. It seems greed and stupidity are second nature to humanity. ;-)
