Nope! Bill Saddam may be crazy but he is a surviver! I think he already won this round. The US can do nothing for the moment, just watch. Any military action will be more political trouble. Today assasinations in Luxor may start to clarify the state of mind of the Islamic fundamentalist - kill everyone who is not acting/believing in Islam. May be people will now realize that the wholle issue between the Arab nations and Israel is a matter of cultural differences as Israel symbolizes modernization and the Western World, and it has nothing to do with anything else. All the so called "settelment" issue is just hogwash. The real issue is to trow out any western symbolism and life style from the Middle East. I may be to sceptical, but the rise of Islamic fundamental forces in Iran, Afganistan, Algier, Egypt and Southern Russian States (and spreading quite fast) will not bode well for the world economies. The Caspian basin is very rich in oil and it seems to me that the Islam is spreading in this direction, Chechnia beeing the latest joining the camp as a result of the Western World mistakes. Maybe, and I smile, Nostradamus was right by predicting that the muslems will conquere Europe again. Well to conqure it economicli by controling the world oil supply is very similar to the way the Turkish Empire controled part of Europe. No need to say were stock market will go!! Well it will not happen tommorow, but quite soon by any historic standart. Any opinions?? Haim
