For dinner tonight I will be making a stir fry. Along with brown rice, i will be using two woks.

One will start with gai lan (my new favorite vegetable), green pepper, green onions, garlic bulbs, and whatever they call the tops of garlic on the way to going to seed, and then near the end snow peas and tofu, and then finally I will put some kale and other green leaves leaves on top to steam.

The other will start with broccoli, green beans, and grated ginger, then near the end more tofu to soak up flavours, then cilantro.

Gai Lan is also known as Chinese broccoli, and is perfect for stir fries. I haven't tried growing it yet but am very happy to see it showing up at farmer's markets these days.
