Hi SK:

I'll tell you something...I diversified across almost all the desert dirts because no one knows for sure who will succeed and fail, even though all the DDs have good prospects. Wall St. surprises me a lot, just as it does everyone else, incl. the pros, so I figure I'd better diversify because the DDs that I think may not succeed will be the blockbuster winners, and the DDs that I think are going to be home runs may strike out. I first bought IPM because it sounded so wonderful. But I figure I'd better diversify anyway because story may be too good to be true. The net effect so far:

I thought that IPM would be the home run king, but it struck out and must go to bat again.

I thought that Maxam wasn't that sexy and appealing, but it appears they'll be blazing the trail by going into real production in Apr98 and using an easy to understand hard rock mining business plan that Wall St. can comprehend.

I thought that since Naxos bottomed at 0.75-1.25 I'd give it a shot. It has blasted off into outer space and is the current market cap leader. Boy, am I happy!

The others haven't gone anywhere yet but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
