traveling with youngsters and notasyoungsters, so must restrict to developed world with still functioning society, which eliminated greece, minnesota, philippines and anywhere africa and anywhere else latin america and rural china out of the selection menu ;0) between usa california / hawaii, vancouver canada, france, and thailand we decided on france even though the kids have been in various parts of this place as they had thailand, and had only visited once hawaii before. we figured france would eventually sink into revolution so best take it in before chaos reign supreme. canada would always be there, so no particular urgency to visit. besides we like real summers :0) thailand is close, and even during revolution, is relatively peaceful compared to usa. etc etc :0)
