Dave, why have Republicans stopped saying "cutting taxes raises revenues"? Used to be, you couldn't get them to STOP saying that!

Seems like NOW would be the time to cut even MORE taxes, now that we NEED revenues!

Neither of these statements are true. But I doubt if you will let that stop you.

For example, two years ago, a large percentage of the stimulus was done as tax cuts, the bulk of which was for businesses. That didn't do squat, as was very predictable. However, by every rational measure, the overall package did a great deal. That is undeniable. It just wasn't big enough to solve the problem.
