I would prefer people have jobs and not be encouraged to stay on unemployment over a job.

What I find amazing is that Cantor does not take more flack than he does. After all, this is the guy who said the feds could not help Joplin, MO after their horrific tornado until he and his cohort could find budget offsets......a process that could take years given the Rs slow motion response to all events. That is one of many serious gaffes he has made..........suggesting an intellect no greater than Palin's. And yet he is majority leader and no one puts him down. The DC universe must be a very strange place.

You are, OF COURSE, WRONG.

The cost of unemployment insurance is borne 100% by the EMPLOYER. You, as an employee, have never paid for ONE NICKEL of unemployment insurance.

Most employees thinks it falls from the sky. Like you they have NO IDEA who is footing that bill.
