During the Bubble there were at least two companies that rewarded their users with free stock. The SEC took a close look at the practice - well, maybe a glance - and did not raise any objections. A few years ago, I read an article about one of the companies and was surprised to find out that the company had survived the Bubble and was thriving. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the name of the company.

A game-based allocation would stimulate demand for the games. It won't happen; too democratic. The elite clients of the investment banks need to eat.
