When you look at the changes in the distribution, together with the performance exhibited during the roll out of the new G3s (20,000 units pre-shipped to distributors before the announcement), it appears that Apple has clearly made strides in its inventory & distribution management.

This company is growing lean and mean!

Since the market ignored the shiny new Apple today my feelings are hurt. When CPQ was sitting on 58 the first time, despite my negative position with AAPL, I almost moved my chips to their square for the inevitable correction. AAPL's 1 point climb since then pales in comparison to CPQ's 8 point. It makes me sad. I guess the market is satisfied to wait on AAPL's earnings numbers.

instock? ... Bill? ... Am I stupid, or what?
