Dennis, it's a "complaint", because, in legal parlance, there isn't any such thing as a "lawsuit". What you file with the court is a "complaint". Same diff.

No, its not different. Its just another name for a lawsuit. The first document filed in a lawsuit is a complaint. The complaint states the plaintiff's claims against the defendant. The defendant (in this case CREAF) has thirty days to file reponsive pleadings (AKA an answer). After that you get motions, discovery, depositions, etc. and maybe a trial. Expect at least 18 months for the case to get resolved.
