No doubt they can extract alumina from bauxite with their process...The many billion question now becomes... Can they do it on a huge scale ( ...as required to feed Al plants ) at competitive costs ???
That's where we (the small investors , the analysts etc...) have no clue...Besides, I don't know if they have ( Mr. Boudreau and Fournier) a thorough understanding of all it takes and how it works with the Bayer process in the Al industrial world ??? I have some reasons to believe they don't... Alouette and others Al co will evaluate/appreciate that. The market needs a solid signal from those co. before we bet the barn on the stock...IMHO.
