It's not my scheme. And I could care less about bothering over $19.95. But lots of people revel in such stuff. I was just reporting what is going on.

Even re. those who don't and legitimately call to cancel and take the "offer you can't refuse", the main point is that it seems AOL is less adding subs than reducing cancellations by means that may wind up haunting it.

all todd is doing is showing us all how aol may be pumping up the sub #'s by giving away month after month of free service so as not to disappoint investors and advertisers. he has a great point which nobody has yet to dispute. lighten up.
