Am I miising something here?I believe I am correct in that there
was a .16 loss last quarter. If you had a positive .12 and it went
to positive earnings of .16 this would be a 25% increase so its
about the same going from .16 to .12. It would seem to me that a
25% increase with a 10% increase in Revenues is not that bad
especially considering that delay in shipment.

Tom,

I'm hoping you are wrong about seeing the stock price slip further,
but quarterly earnings are such an obsession with many investors that
it might happen.

I listened to the conference call yesterday and heard some interesting
things. There are quite a few cap companies in the pipeline for HED
films, probably in small quantities for testing and development at
this point. If the price and size advantages are realizable, Q3 of
1998 ought to be a lot different.

The DNA deal is supposed to be finalized before the end of 1997, so
we should see more stable and predictable financials in 1998. Hopefully, they will be more profitable, too.

Even though the news wasn't all that cheerful, I'm happy to see that
ADTC didn't play any financial games with the numbers trying to make
things look different than they are. And, revenue growth is still over 30% for the year, so I think we are just seeing some turbulence
that is characteristic of small companies.
