I'll buy into that for families and individuals as long as it's the same for corporations. If you think individual taxes are complex and full of perverse incentives, you should look at corporate tax statutes. 100x. You want to see the economy grow? Put a tax on idle corporate cash. Say 8%. They would invest that shit so fast it would make your head spin.
