I go to McDonalds and buy 5 dollar gift certificates and give them. Then they have to BUY FOOD. Not liquor or whatever. What if they're homeless because of mental illness............do you fill their prescriptions......or did you think all homeless people are drunks and druggies? Do you ever talk to these people? Do you ever think that maybe McDonald's food may not be the best food for them and that giving $$$ to a shelter may be the way to go where they can get a more balanced meal and maybe a bed? And did you know that many of those homeless are Iraqi war vets....from both wars? Some even from the Vietnam war. That many of them are suffering from PTSD and are self medicating to keep the demons at bay; that they did not have a drinking or drug problem before they went to war; that the VA doesn't give them the treatment they need and deserve? Because you see a human wreck on the street, you assume they are lazy slackers who partied too much when they were in college. And most times you would be very wrong. The truth is, Jim, I don't care how these people got on the mean streets of this country. They don't deserve to be treated like animals........not in the richest country in the world. They deserve to be given at least the bare minimum so they don't have to sleep under freeway overpasses in the middle of winter if they don't want. Yet, these are the people your teapers want to kick to the curb along with the elderly and the disabled....because teapers think they are better than these people when they are not. Teapers make me sick to my stomach! They are the lesser of us, and yet, they are trying to lead us. Not over my dead body! Not over my dead body!

One more thing, McMannis, I am going to tell you a story, one that you should understand if you ever really were in real estate. I had an owner....they were upper middle class but cheap as held. They were selling their semi fixer in a bad market. They were too cheap to do any of the cosmetics I recommended to make the place look better. They said: "Sell it as is".......and what was unspoken, be sure to earn your commission. You know the type.......the gov't is screwing them, taxes are way too high, the illegals are taking over the country, yada yada yada. Well to my surprise they got near a full price offer in their second week on the market. I was more than surprised; I was shocked. I presented them with the offer. They turned it down. It was 'clear' I had underpriced their house. You know the type of seller.....they believe every real estate agent is out to screw them. They demanded the price be raised 10%. So I did. The house languished. I couldn't even get showings.......the house did not present well from the street. The yard was never kept up. I had cleaned it up at one point but they let it deteriorate again. Whenever I had an open house, I had to go early to straighten it up because they wouldn't. After a while, I began to realize these people were slightly nuts......of course they hid it from the world behind a wall of money. I also began to realize they were pretty much scumbags of the first order. As we got near the end of the listing period, I knew I would not try to renew the listing......let some other poor agent get this 'prize'. Then, in the last week of my listing, they got an offer.......$50k less than what they had gotten the second week. They were furious but also a little desperate.......their retirement home had closed three months earlier and they were paying for the upkeep on two properties. Plus, the retirement home had gotten broken into because it was sitting vacant. They took the much smaller offer. Then to add insult to injury, after the walk through before opening escrow, the buyer decided there was more work to do then he had thought and demanded $10K in improvements. They ate that too. Why am I telling you this story? Because these sellers in my story are your teaper leaders in DC. Boehner got a really good offer a while back and he turned it down. He got another offer this week from the President.......not as good as the first one but still good. Boehner walked.........while the whole country was watching. The president now has had enough and is letting the nation know from his bully pulpit......the one that gives the president a leg up on the opposition...exactly how pissed he is. Boehner has no choice but to go to the Senate and beg......I mean try to find a path that will work. You see Boehner is weak.....a drinker who cries a lot. He's been afraid to confront your teaper freshmen who don't know their arses from a hole in the ground. So he tried to get Obama to bend. That didn't work so now he's trying to get Reid and McConnell to bend. My guess is that won't work either. To add insult to injury, Obama has put you freaks on notice that he will only approve a raise in the debt ceiling that extends until after the 2012 election. Now I don't know how stupid the teapers are but I suspect in the end they will agree to that minimal effort. And then this year and next year it will be up to the American people to clean house. If the GOP is not a regional party by the end of 2012, I will be very surprised. Oh....and don't expect the markets to be very happy come Monday morning. Stupid is as stupid does!
