I agree that it is too early to tell. Today Japan is high on the fact that their government is going to help them. But last I heard, they didn't say how. Will they dump their US Treasuries? How long will it take to get straightened out? My understanding is that their banks have billions in bad debt and may need help from the US and others. I'm the careful, protect your account, type of trader. I think Japan has big problems. Yesterday was one the largest up moves they've had in years, and I don't know what to make of it. Sorry I can't provide any positive direction. In fact, I'm confused by yesterday's Nikkei action. Harry
