Morning Paul.....Thanks for the interesting article, plenty of fodder for thought over the health care system in those 8 pages.

Speaking for myself, and maybe a few others on the thread, I can't envision ever supporting a single payer plan regardless of the flaws and abuses associated with our current system. The reason is very simple....we can't trust government with our money.....That feeling applies to many levels of government. All you have to do is look at the deficits and debt run up by the various states, never mind the near total disaster that our federal government has grown into with their abandonment of any realistic attempt at fiscal management.

Don't even get me started on my local school district which has more revenues by far than the average for the state and is still bankrupt, but just loves to get involved in unsuccessful multi million dollar lawsuits.

Good financial management might be common in Canada(though I doubt it), but I'll be dipped if I can find many examples in our public sectors.......evidence of our fiduciary failures are as common as house flies in the summer.

p.s. ....my 13 month old grand daughter was a big help in typing this out......seemed like she had 4 arms and 3 feet.
