Where I live is very rural, however, the Interstate is minutes away as are Trooper Barracks 2 minutes away. Retired law enforcement representation is high and many active duty officers live within one minute and more within 5 minutes.

Buckshot and rifled slug stores are very high in my home as are 40 cal rounds for carbine and pistol.. I still feel the world is very dangerous and unpredictable.

We had a break in in Will County in a house the company I work for owns. We trapped the people in the house and called the police. They took about an hour to arrive. It really made me think how every second would feel after calling police at 2 am to report sounds of an intruder in your house.
