Just the kind of response I'd expect, and so prescient. Add to that (according to Tim Geithner) our government cuts 80,000,000 checks a month (lord knows for how much?) and one can see there are few ways out of this "mess." We are truly in a desperate situation imo.

Thanks again, KLP. Not only is Fred's analysis brilliant and inclusive, it is also extremely well written. Rarely have I read such prose so well phrased and so cogently expressed. Probably good that Fred decided not to run for public office. He is too smart, too open and too honest to really survive the conditions that he so well describes.

he positively nailed the condition we are in and how we got here....and correctly notes that there is no workable solution with TPTB, hence collapse is inevitable....i hope he is wrong (just as he does) but i see nothing to convince me otherwise thank you for posting that
