Lars,

I like your idea about game peripheral companies...joysticks,
controllers, steering wheels...I'll take a look into Thrustmaster.
Actually, I should kick myself for not looking into it sooner.

Yes, I've seen THQI's numbers and very impressive for the number of
shares outstanding...Puts ATVI's results in a different light. As for
investing in THQI, I will concede that I'm too late, though from the
looks of the chart and the activity on the THQI thread, I may be throwing in the towel too early.

Most of the gain is from consoles, no? How is ATVI shaping up in that dept?
The slip of Apocalypse and Pitfall 3D to next year could be considered
a plus in some ways...I imagine that Pitfall 3D will be very cool,
though I haven't heard/seen much about it, but at least it will
lead to some nice revs in the first half of next year. It would seem
that ATVI doesn't need much more help for Christmas...with strong releases of Dark Reign, Hexen II, and the upcoming Quake II and Heavy Gear. Consoles look to be strong next year for ATVI....Vigilante 8,
Apocalypse, Pitfall 3D, any more planned?

What do you think about Heavy Gear from what you've seen? You've
obviously worked closely with the enhanced MW2 engine with I' 76
(which I still play and is STILL amazing...that game, by the way
led me to by a steering wheel from Thrustmaster no less!)

I hope things are going well!

Tom C.

Am I seeing some signs of life in ATVI stock?!!!

Well it's about time...
Let's see...in a takeover, ATVI brings some strong in-house brand name franchises...Heavy Gear (if it's a success...and I'm sure it will be),
Hexen II, Zork, Pitfall, Dark Reign (make real 3D terrain!), Interstate '76 and potential titles like Battlezone and Asteroids. Strong financials,
expanding game distribution, great management...

Here's to the rumour that ERTS lawyers were running around in preparation for a bid for ATVI!
