One of the speakers at a Tea Party Rally I attended had a pistol on his hip. He made a pitch for RKBA. Congresswoman Cathy McMorris-Rogers was on the stage with him and did not appear to be concerned.

The city had removed all garbage receptacles in the park, but the place was spotless when the Tea Party was over.

Nobody was ever shot at a Tea Party Rally that I know of. Bad guys would be afraid, or alternatively, too smart, to attend.
