>>History is not reality. It is an interpretation of what really happened.<<

Agree 100%.

Seven billion human beings alive in the world today. Each one with multiple connections to many of the others, which change by the day, if not by the minute. Each one with multiple reactions to many of the others, which change by the day, if not by the minute.

How to represent "what really happened"? What did happen?

Some people died. Some people were born. Some people had an idea, and some people had a different idea.

We could say, "This person had an idea. Some people had different ideas. Some of them said why. This person made something. Some people liked it, and bought it. Some did not. Some of them said why. This person became a leader of other people, for this reason."

You could focus on generalities, or on specifics, but one person cannot explain everything.

Having said that, where do we go?
