I don't think it owns any silver. It is a leveraged vehicle, therefore it must be holding some paper Given the "Gain" in the "transfer function" I would say that it is all paper - probably options on futures, but maybe futures. Instead of owning AGQ, I prefer the options on the AGQ. Options, on options, on options. This is the example of wise investing the government sets for me by its bailing out of the investment banks. This is what investment banks do, the government thinks it is good, so it must be good for me. Just call me LTCM.

Never forget, when you buy an option, all you can lose is the premium. If you buy the AGQ directly, you are no doubt buying time premium which slips like sand through your fingers.

Silver at $40.87. I might bail on the AGQs by noon. Look for a pullback and reenter.
