Gov. Jerry Brown is expected to sign a bill Monday that will increase access to college financial aid for undocumented immigrants.

Brown is to appear with the author of the bill, Assemblyman Gilbert Cedillo (D-Los Angeles) at Cal State Los Angeles on Monday afternoon. The governor's spokesman, Gil Duran, confirmed that Brown intended to sign the legislation, known as the California Dream Act.

Similar legislation had been vetoed by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.
