Very true about CCs constraining a trading account. That's why I use them primarily in a LTBH portfolio, where I don't intend to sell the underlying anyway, mostly for tax reasons. CCs just goose the steady dividend yield (by a lot).

All true, but so what... as you say, I'm "tying up my money" for a month, every month, but that month and every month I'm making better than 8% on my investment, that's 96% annually... where can you go to get that kind of return guaranteed?

I think of the race between the tortoise and the hare... the hare wore himself out in a long string of fast sprints, he was exhausted before he got anywhere near the finish line, but the tortoise simply kept up his slow steady pace and he won the race without any effort...
