This is at least the third time I've lived through this ceiling kabuki theatre. Nothing meaningful ever comes of it. If markets tanked big time going into the weekend, I would view that as a short term buying opportunity. But who knows, may be this time it's (finally) different... There is something different happening here. The agreement that comes out of this deal is not going to be business as usual. There are going to be deep, meaningful cuts in the growth of government this time around. We have not seen that before, and certainly not on this level.
