Eagle Bulk Shipping Inc. (Nasdaq:EGLE - News) will report its financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2011, after the close of stock market trading on Wednesday, August 3rd.

SOB, I had a small profit, I almost flipped them last week ( but, then it would have run into earnings), that would have been a good move apparently...now I'm in a hole again, another new low buying opportunity, I added....Unbelievable, the company has $1.56 per share in cash. Market cap only $137M, Revenues of $4.77 per share ($297.5M) YOY Quarterly growth 60%. I think their earnings report should help the shares recover...10% short interest, about 6M shares...the float is only 55M shares. If I was China I'd buy this company out....it's a steal, If I was China I'd buy several of these shippers...got to use those bernanke bucks while they still can<g>

As the worldwide economy has recovered from the debt crisis of 2008, demand for iron ore from steelmakers in China has surged. Since supply is relatively constrained in the short term -- it takes years for new iron ore mines to be built -- iron ore prices have jumped roughly threefold since 2008.

Eagle Bulk Shipping, Inc., headquartered in New York City, is a leading global owner of Supramax dry bulk vessels, which are dry bulk vessels that range in size from 50,000 to 60,000 deadweight tons, or dwt, and transport a broad range of major and minor bulk cargoes, including iron ore, coal, grain, cement and fertilizer, along worldwide shipping routes.

LOL, "The Lion went once a-hunting along with the Fox, the Jackal, and the Wolf. They hunted and they hunted till at last they surprised a Stag, and soon took its life. Then came the question how the spoil should be divided. "Quarter me this Stag," roared the Lion; so the other animals skinned it and cut it into four parts. Then the Lion took his stand in front of the carcass and pronounced judgment: The first quarter is for me in my capacity as King of Beasts; the second is mine as arbiter; another share comes to me for my part in the chase; and as for the fourth quarter, well, as for that, I should like to see which of you will dare to lay a paw upon it."

"Humph," grumbled the Fox as he walked away with his tail between his legs; but he spoke in a low growl."
