All true....Obama wants to spend. He wants a "works" program to buy votes, he wants re-election more than anything else and needs his blank check for that.

The White House and media have before refused the GOP an opportunity to present a dissenting response, thus squelching the presentation of a balanced debate. The GOP insisted on a response this go-round after the President’s fifth (or sixth?) press conference in as many days.
