LOL....Do you want a pissing match? Then you might win a glacial/ interglacial debate eh? There are many factors that cause heating and cooling of the earth. The biggest factor is the Sun not the gulf stream and conveyor belt. Currently, the Sun is very active, what is causing this? Gravity? All we need for a rapid glacial period is for it to calm down. Let's just wait and see how cold it gets this winter on the eastern seaboard before you start criticizing my intelligence with droughts, hurricanes and floods. Can you tell me why the jet stream is moving and why and how we can get this huge high pressure dome over the US....I have a theory, I can't speak of it publicly except provide second hand theories as evidence. NASA is a civilian under funded front, the real space advancements are secret. There are ways to create floods, tornadoes, hurricanes earthquakes and change the atmosphere and move the jet stream and effect currents. Our atmosphere and the planets magnetic sphere also protect us from the effects of the Sun. I know the possibility that the oceans can rise....I know the effects volcanoes and earthquakes can cause. I don't believe global warming is the direct cause of those things.
