tim, i was in a border's bookstore this afternoon and browsing in their business section. the luca bok looked interesting (the title) so i pulled out and began skimming it. facinating. two hours later i went home aand ordered it from <books@books.com> for $45. the cover price is $69. what attracted me so much is the comprehensive and thorough coverage of everything i had come to observe and hear about technical analysis, and much more. especially appealing were the gaps in my understanding that were addressed quite openly and in a very systematic way. i look forward to reading and using it as a reference when it arrives. it was not discovered by recommendation - pure serendipity. my favorite way to uncover and buy. usually my goal is to get the best three books on a subject i undertake. if this book is really as good as it looks, then it may tbe all i need for the technical side for my course of study. see if you can locate a physical copy and look it over yourself. i am a bottom-up investor and have always been interested in whatever 'ta' might be able to contribute to my skills. ray
