Federal departments need to be downsized in a significant way. There is not any political will on either side to perform that in at all. What is needed is some experienced crisis management to eliminate the waste. Entitlement reform is going to happen one way or the other... When the POTUS runs out of our money to fund all the programs he uses to get his base to vote for him he will be forced to tell Geitner whom to pay. The rating agencies will do their thing. We have me the enemy and its us... buy gold and silver.
