It didn't have to do with economic uncertainty. They took the House because the recovery from the recession wasn't happening fast enough and the Rs had convinced them that Obama was trying to turn the US into Cuba. Periodically, its seems you forget about the great GOP propaganda machine which can convince Americans of the inexplicable........like that the rich should hold onto their tax cuts or that global warming is a socialist plot to rid them of their beloved SUVs.
