Problem is that these officers are used to just taking cash at gun point. Does it matter if they have a badge? To me, the badge just makes it so there is no one to complain to. And if one of them is robbing me, I can't shoot them. Against the rules .. And they have the ability to inflict long term damage. Not just the robbery itself, but lots of other mess. Court etc. Some areas of the state have become peaceful to travel through. Other areas there is great risk involved.
