Well, the info simply calculates where those optimal points are.

It follows up on various (sometimes conspiracy-) theories how option expiration could influence the stock price. Whether an effect really exists is something yet to be found out.

So far I think the connection is not very compelling. At least at times when stocks are strong (perhaps at the moment they are NOT really) it does not seem to matter much where the open interest stands.

Last month we did see significant movements, however then the whole market moved. Hardly anything one could attribute to open interest, although a very interesting COINCIDENCE?

I'll keep watching

P.S.: Last two cycles EVI went down THU + FRI of ex-week. (as did DO and NE)
