GZ, when you trade futures, how do you offset counter party risk in a Black Swan event? This would be a major concern, especially since the FED may be powerless. Not trying to say that this will happen but these things can happen very quickly. I used to be a member of the CBOE and in 1987 the system was saved by the acquisition of Continental Bank by the FEDS. CB owned First Options which was a major clearing firm on the floor so a real domino effect would have happened.
