No kidding; what a commentary THAT is.

A few short months ago Obama was nowhere on deficit reduction. Nowhere. At least now he's facing the fact that we're going to need large cuts.

It is pretty impressive work by the Rs when you think about it.

Looking like a clear win for the Tea Party, from where I sit. A total Obama cave. NO new revenues/taxes! They have the measure of the man. They've cut him down from the president that got Osama.

Look for two more years of (D) caves as the Tea Partiers get their way..

I'm all for the cuts. But the House with their Tea Partiers controls the purse, so ALL the cuts will be the one's THEY want, and Obama will sign on. Which means we'll STILL have a bloated military, but maybe not in Afghanistan!

The old will buy cheaper cat food and wait for medical problems to get better before they die.

Obama voted to extend all of Bush's tax cuts,

That's disingenuous...

and Tea Party Republicans are pretty much dictating the context of the entire debt ceiling debate.

Let's see how this ends...
