Nuke power would be a lot cheaper today if it had started as a private power source. The Greens have done everything they can to keep it's cost up. The "Fracking Bubble" you refer to was a lie pulmagated by the New York Times. Fracking scares Greens to death because it is now a proven source of cheap, clean power that they can't get rid of.
