What's the deal with all of these Democraps comparing the debt-ceiling issue to slavery, the Emancipation Proclamation [1], plantatation living conditions for slaves, Jim Crow laws, etc.?

Reparations. We owe them. It's their turn. Distribution of the wealth. Fairness.

Beats me but saw a few of the same references. Seems to me we are all debt slaves and they want us to be even bigger debt slaves. We work thorough June just to pay taxes and aftwerwards, no shelter, no food and no clothing and no transportation or security is provided.
