The worst of the worst went belly up long ago. Nobody would touch them. Wells Fargo and Bank of America, of course, were bailed out, so they are being made into examples. Kids of all races need to learn that not paying their bills is going to put them so deep in the shit that they may not be able to climb out, and that this is not to their benefit. They will have to pay 25% interest forever to service the debt, and 25% of their take-home forever if they default. No better than slaves. Worse, actually, is that with bad credit they can't get a good job, they can't buy a house, they can't get insurance at a reasonable rate, they can't buy a decent car. They are stuck in the shit. That there are companies out there with the business model of putting people deep in the shit and keeping them there. Sort of like the Mafia, but the people who run them work in tall buildings and let others break knees and put families into homeless shelters. I tell my clients this. They put you deep in the shit, and they want to keep you there forever. I can get you out, but only you can keep yourself from going back. You put your own self in the shit, and only you can stop it.
