I just think it is a huge bargaining chip. The Dems do NOT want this coming back up next year, and they're going to be ready to deal. Also, that there will be deal on the table that the Dems have to come out against seems to me to be something of value.

right.....a huge bargaining chip for future but insignificant cuts now. Seems the Republicans better pass the Boehmer bill or get cut out of future bargaining. Don't see how the Democrats can vote against only 100B average yearly cuts. If they do.......shut it down.

Nancy Pelosi controlled HER House much better than Boehner controls HIS. She got the votes, with no drama. Boehner looks TERRIBLE after Pelosi - he looks like an incompetent, bow tie daddy ASS.
