Support shifts as GOP adds balanced budget amendment

Yeah...but it's dead in the senate...boehner knew it, mccain knows it, graham knows it....it's stupid.

Yup. Stocks were going up after Obama spoke; now they are plummeting again. Rs have lost all credibility.

This is just sad. I expect more from NC.

* In North Carolina, the latest survey from Public Policy Polling shows Romney leading Bachmann by a nearly identical margin, 23% to 22%.

Likely....but it's what the large majority in this country wants....well worth fighting for. Don't think Reid will table it without ( would be tabling the ONLY two bills that solve the problem and passed by one half of congress) tremendous political damage to Democrats. Likely gets debated and amended. If amendments are sincere and reasonable (not likely) it could pass with bipartisan vote. If amendments are designed to completely (most likely scenario) gut the bill, it will be obvious as to which party wants a balanced budget. If it somehow gets thru the senate.....Obama would have to sign it.
