They are putting the .05 cents a share difference into developing oil fields in the Baaken play in Southern Canada Northern Upper Mid-West US.

Where are you getting the figures for the payout ratios? My understanding is that the distributions was based on a percentage of earning for both companies and does not exceed earnings per share. Last time I checked Distributions/ratio to earnings for PWE was around 60% after the dividend cut. Haven't checked PGH in a while.
